Allan Almaraz

I am passionate about higher education and the difference data can make in how it operates. My goal is to bring analytical rigor and clear data visualization to the departments and teams I work with, whether that is within the UC, CSU, or community college systems. I want to be the analyst who strengthens how these teams understand their own operations, so that the improvements ripple outward and change the institution their students experience.

For now, my focus is building deep expertise in the internal systems and finance practices that keep a UC department running, from the Kuali Financial System (KFS) and UCPath to general ledger reconciliation and budget reporting. Looking ahead, I hope to grow into a Senior Analyst or Budget Analyst role within a higher education institution, and further down the road, I am open to either continuing on toward a Finance Director role or pivoting into local government.
