Hello, my name is Allan Almaraz. I am a first-generation graduate student pursuing my Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), with a passion for using data to inform decisions and drive meaningful change. This is my professional portfolio, where you can explore who I am, my experience, and the projects I have worked on. Welcome, and please take a look around!
Personal Mission Statement
I believe data has the power to move organizations forward. My goal is to contribute to the kinds of companies that shape everyday life, the brands and institutions that people interact with through the products they buy, the food they eat, and the places they work and learn. I find purpose in knowing that my analysis could influence how these organizations operate, and that the impact of that work would be visible in the world around me. Whether supporting a restaurant brand, an apparel company, an automotive manufacturer, or a university, I aspire to be the analyst who turns complex data into decisions that actually change how things are done. For me, that is what makes analytics meaningful.
Goals & Target Opportunities
Through my MSBA program and professional experience, I have developed a growing toolkit centered on data analysis and business strategy, and I am intentionally using it as a pivot into more technical, analytical work. By deepening my expertise in R, SQL, Python, Tableau, and Power BI, my goal is to bridge the analytical and strategic sides of a business: not just reporting what happened, but informing what should happen next. With a graduation date of June 2026, I am actively pursuing entry-level analyst roles in financial, marketing, and business analytics across industries like food service, higher education, and consumer goods.
